Compilation of a list of Ghanaian visitors stranded in the United States wishing to be evacuated.

The Permanent Mission of Ghana to the UN and the Consulate General in New York wish to indicate that by Executive Order, Ghana’s borders and airports remain closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic until further notice. Acting upon the directive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, the Mission is compiling a list of Ghanaians stranded in the United States as a result of the closures, who wish to be evacuated.

All affected Ghanaians in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are requested to register with the Mission by providing the following information:

  1. Name and Biodata of Passport
  2. US Visa page and date of entry
  3. State and City of residence in the United States.

The above information should be urgently communicated by email to Ghanaconsulate@aol.com by Tuesday, May 12, 2020, to enable the Mission to advise the Ministry accordingly.
